Danish Art & Christmas Shop opened in
Copenhagen in May 1998 by Leo Faurholt and his wife Hanne. The shop
should present traditional Danish Christmas articles - both handmade
in Denmark and produced by Danish artists! Together with the
assortment in Christmas articles we wanted to present designs from
known and unknown Danish artists - design which would represent a
wide selection of the famous Danish Design.
Briefly after the opening downtown Copenhagen we launched the
homepage which you are watching. The idea with this project was to
present our products to Danes living outside Denmark and to people
all over the World who enjoy our traditional and new designs as much
as we do!
We are very glad that our shop has been well established in
Copenhagen and that we see the same faces every year. We are happy
to see both Danes and tourists returning to our shop with greetings
from all over the World!
If you are visiting Copenhagen please give you a little time to see
our shop. And perhaps you will hear Leo or Hanne tell one of their
many stories about Denmark, Copenhagen, Scandinavia and Christmas!
In Danish Art & Christmas Shop it is Christmas every day all year
